Angela Rudd is a percussion and piano teacher and freelance percussionist in Illinois. She is currently teaching privately in the Western Springs/LaGrange area and is committed to aiding in the growth of music programs around the state.

"I have chosen to be a teacher because I have the opportunity to influence students who are developing into the people they will eventually be. Providing an opportunity for a child that they would not otherwise have the chance for is a blessing beyond words. Seeing the face of a young student light up at the sound of an instrument they have never heard before is miraculous. Watching students discover their passion for music while under my instruction is indescribable. It is amazing to be able to mold and shape students into people who understand the importance of hard work, set high goals, and reach after their dreams. God has given me the greatest gift of all time - the blessing of working with students, watching them grow in all aspects of humanity, sharing in their joys and challenges, and sharing my great passion for music.
